Couple Therapy
Regardless of the burdens that may be holding back your relationship (communication, trust, finances, addiction, infidelity, or a loss of connection), an evidence-based approach can help to heal any past hurt, direct the focus to the present, and co-create the relationship that you both want for your future.
Individual and Family Therapy
I work with adults, teens, and children using models that have been shown to help heal trauma, anxiety, depression, and family struggles. Models such as IFS and EMDR for adults, and Play Therapy for children, have been known to unlock the barriers we have built for ourselves as a method of protection and self-preservation. Together we can explore those barriers, break them down, and rebuild the you that you want to become.
Individual Couple Therapy
Sometimes only one person in the relationship is willing to begin therapy. Significant improvement can be achieved, even when working with just one member of a couple.
Other times one person may need to work on individual healing (past trauma, personal crisis, or re-examining self) that could be causing problems for the relationship. In some cases resolving these issues may result in an automatic healing of the relationship.
Beginning with individual couple therapy can provide immediate peace and cultivate a strong foundation to later begin couple work, together with your partner.
